Cc and bcc on an envelope
cc / bcc in settings are plain
addresses that are told about the envelope but never asked to sign — no link,
no token:
"settings": {
"documentId": "...", "subject": "...",
"cc": ["sales@acme.example"],
"ccNotifyOn": "completion"
}
ccNotifyOn / bccNotifyOn is "none"
(default), "completion" (one email, with the signed PDF
attached), or "everything" (also the initial send and every
reminder). Every address on either list gets a mail of its own, so nobody
sees the other addresses: cc and bcc behave the same,
and both are kept so a request written for another service still fits.
Separately from cc/bcc, your organisation is told when an
envelope completes, at the addresses set in Settings
(Notifications), unless that notice is switched off there.
Recipe form: Keep someone in the loop without asking them to sign. Full envelope settings: Signing on its own.
